Volunteer firefighters have one of the most dangerous jobs on the planet. When they are called there is always the chance that a firefighter could lose their life. Most firefighters take their oath and what the Maltese cross represents very seriously amongst themselves and with the public.

The qualities represented by those who wore the Maltese cross on their sleeves go all the way back to the Crusaders who during the battle became the very first firefighters and that badge of courage still exists today.

One Michigan firefighter has taken one of the Maltese cross qualities way too far and that is the one of explicitness.

Firefighters are hired to fight fires not expose themselves to 14-year-old girls.

When you think of an older fireman standing in front of a fire truck, the picture above is what most people have in mind. One Michigan firefighter in Calhoun County broke that community trust when he thought he would send what he thought was a 14-year-old girl a nude photo of himself in front of a firetruck, then meet up with her later to have sex.

According to MLive, the 60-year-old of Concord was not actually talking to a 14-year-old girl but an undercover cop in a sting operation. Calhoun County sheriff's deputies arrested the volunteer firefighter on his way to Marshall where he had set up a meeting for sex with the minor. Prior to the meeting he had sent the girl nude photographs even after the undercover officer had indicated the girl he was playing to be 14.
