2018 may have seen the Vans Warped Tour come to an end as a major summer touring festival, but founder Kevin Lyman suggested at the time of the announcement that there would be plans for the tour's 25th anniversary. Thanks to a new tweet from Lyman, we now know that there will be some Vans Warped Tour dates this year, though not a full tour.

According to Lyman, plans are coming together for the 25th anniversary, and realizing that there are those planning vacations around the event, he stated, "Only thing I can say for now, since many need to hold vacation dates are June 8 Cleveland, June 29-30 East Coast, July 20-21 West Coast."

No other details have been revealed, but with it being the 25th Anniversary of the legendary festival, you should probably expect some name alumni to take part. Given the limited number of dates, it could also be likely that more acts could commit to the probable stops, even if it means a detour from their own tours.

"I am so grateful to have worked with more than 1,700 bands over the last 23 summers," stated Lyman last year prior to the 24th edition of Vans Warped Tour. "The enduring spirit of the Vans Warped Tour remains as bright as ever, continuing to inspire creativity and ambition in new and exciting ways as we prepare for a 25th anniversary celebration in 2019," added Lyman in a statement in the festival website.
