The Rolling Stones are coming to Ford Field in Detroit, and we have two chances for you to win tickets.

The Rolling Stones hands down are still the biggest rock band in the world...sorry U2 and Metallica...but its true.

The Stones were scheduled to play Ford Field back in 2020 but like everything else that year it was postponed due to the pandemic. At least they rescheduled instead of cancelling.

So the Stones have rescheduled the "No Filter Tour" and it will be at Ford Field in Detroit on November 15th. So needless to say a few Michigan deer hunters may miss the opening day evening hunt and if you have enough beers, you may miss the following morning firearm season for deer. But who cares...its the Rolling Stones.

Since the show was postponed, a lot of fans got a refund for their tickets, which means there are a lot of tickets left for the show. Ford Field is much smaller than the old Pontiac Silverdome where they have performed in the past as well as smaller than Comerica Park...so for the Stones, Ford Field is like seeing them play a big bar. Not a bad seat in the house.

I caught the Stones in Chicago at the United Center years ago and it was like seeing rock royalty. Because of my job, I come in contact with a lot of artists and am just used to it, but when the Stones came off stage and got on a small moving stage that drove out into the crowd, I was right next to it and got chills being so close to Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ron Wood and Charlie Watts. I felt like I was in the presence of kings, I can't explain it but I have never felt like that before in my life.

The Rolling Stones are a band that does not have to tour. They could have stopped 20 years ago if they wanted to. They just do it for their love of the music and because they still can.

So if you would like to experience the Rolling Stones at Ford Field, next week we will have two ways to win a pair of tickets. Beginning Tuesday, July 27, you will be able to sign up to win on the GRD app and we have several pairs of tickets that we are giving away there. You only need to sign up once on the app once the promotion is launched.

If you are willing to do just about anything for Rolling Stones tickets, good news because Free Beer and Hot Wings will be giving away a pair of tickets sometime next week. I don't know what day they will do it, how they will do it, or what you will have to do to get those tickets but odds are, its gonna be fun no matter how this goes down. So listen to Free Beer and Hot Wings Monday and everyday next week to find how you can get your hands on tickets to the Rolling Stones.
