Many Detroit Lions fans have dreamed of a Super Bowl. Last season those dreams almost became a reality.
The Lions have gotten to a rough start this season after an ugly win over the Los Angeles Rams and an ugly loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Most of the NFL teams are 1-1 so it's early and Detroit has lots of time to get to the playoffs and who knows, maybe even the Super Bowl.

In a survey from RotoGrinders, they asked Detroit Lions fans what they would give up for a Super Bowl, and coming in at number 12, 2% said their retirement savings.
3% of Lions fans surveyed said they would miss their child being born for a Detroit Super Bowl. That is nuts because if they lost it wouldn't be worth the lifetime of that story being told about missing you missing your kid being born for a Lions Super Bowl loss.
3% of Lions fans say they would miss the funeral of a close family member. I wonder how close, a mother or father, husband or wife but outside of those I wouldn't have a problem not being at the funeral?
3% of Lions fans must be unhappily married because they said they would give up their spouse for a Super Bowl.
6% of Detroit fans say they would give up their honeymoon for a Lions Super Bowl. That would be an easy thing to work into a honeymoon if you had tickets to the game.
This one is the most ballsy one yet, 7% of Lions fans say they would miss their own wedding for a Motor City Super Bowl. This might be a deal breaker for most people.
10% of Lions fans say they would give up their annual bonus for a Super Bowl. Do people get annual bonuses still?

11% of Lions fans surveyed say they would miss a family wedding for a Super Bowl. That sounds too easy.
This survey must have given Lions fans options to choose from because 17% said they would give up a winning bet of $2000 for a Super Bowl.
Now we are into the top 3 things Lions fans would give up for a Super Bowl. 22% of fans said they would give up an all-expense paid trip to Las Vegas.
24% of Detroit Lions fans said they would give up the last-ever concert of their favorite artist. I would have no problem doing that. I gave up the last Kiss concert because the ticket site kept screwing me over and I was going to pay for after-market tickets.
28% of Lions fans said the number 1 thing they would give up for a Super Bowl would be a date with their celebrity crush.
