I love traveling the roads of Michigan. It’s always interesting to drive by an exit for a town that has a very unique name.

Traveling east on I-94 you get to Climax before arriving in Hell. Be careful though, one wrong turn out of Climax -- and you could end up in Colon!

In the Upper Peninsula, Paradise is about a two hour drive from Christmas.

And we even have cities with the same names as some of our 50 United States: Alaska, Kentucky, Washington, and Wyoming. You can also visit Paris or Moscow in the Lower Peninsula. And you can find Beverly Hills not that far from Washington.

Traveling from Lansing towards Flint, it’s a Bath and then you could end up by Flushing. But at least you won’t be in Coldwater.

If you are searching for Nirvana or Hope, you might stop by Sears along the way. Bliss would be a little further north.

Names that are just funny to me: Slapneck, Dick, Mullett Township, Bad Axe, Beulah, Jugville and Rust Township.

All this traveling might make you hungry. You might want to stop by Raisin Center Township or head more to the northwest and grab a burger somewhere in the Township of Hamburg.

And one place I’ve never been, but I need to check out: Wic-A-Te-Wah.

Maybe I’ll see you in Hell... or maybe in Paradise!
