Xbox's presence at this month's San Diego Comic-Con just a got a whole lot beefier by hosting the world's first-look at Halo: Nightfall.

With Xbox's formal San Diego Comic-Con lineup unveiled at Major Nelson's website, we were shocked to see that one of the event's panels includes an exclusive, hour-long first-look at Halo: Nightfall. On July 24, the world gets to hear from Scott Free Productions about this Ridley Scott-produced feature film, which will tell the story of the mysterious Spartan of Halo 5: Guardians, Agent Locke.

Xbox also will be showing off Evolve, Sunset Overdrive, Forza Horizon 2, Fable Legends, Super Dead Rising 3 Arcade Remix, Skylanders: Trap Team, The Evil Within, The Crew, Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, Project Spark and many other titles on the SDCC floor. Major League Gaming will also be putting together live tournaments for Titanfall, Killer Instinct and Forza Motorsport 5 at the event.
