It may seem funny when you say it out loud but selfie deaths are becoming more common, and this time it just happened in Michigan.

WLUC-TV reports that a 32-year-old California woman was hiking at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, on Wednesday afternoon, when she stopped to take a picture of herself at the edge of a cliff. That's when she, sadly, fell about 200 feet down into Lake Superior.

A couple kayakers witnessed what happened and pulled her to shore on Chapel Beach.

After investigating, the National Park Service found that the woman was hiking by herself and her death is being considered an accident.
