Today on Segment 16, the guys explore a news story that's been investigating why our roads fall apart so quickly. WZZM conducted a study over four months to discover why so many of Michigan's roads are falling apart in half the time they should!

Apparently, there's a thing called Vinsol Resin they put in the concrete that creates little bubbles, to allow water to collect and expand without destroying the road. Unfortunately, back in the 90s, lawmakers allowed the substitution of a synthetic version of the Vinsol Resin.

Guess what? The synthetic version doesn't work. It's complete garbage, and all the roads have gone to s*** because of it.

Surprise!

There are a lot of other things that contribute to the decay, but this is one of the big factors in why the roads are garbage here.
