Why Am I Just Finding Out About ‘Rick & Morty’?

You know that feeling when you don't want to start watching a new TV show because you'll end up watching a whole damn season in one go an realize your whole day is gone?

That's how I felt this weekend when a friend of mine showed me the Adult Swim show, 'Rick & Morty.'

It's a crazy show about the adventures of a scientist named Rick and his grandchild Morty. Rick is a mad scientist who is seemingly drunk all of the time creating strange experiments, while Morty is a shy kid who is dragged along for all of his crazy adventures.

At first I wasn't overall attracted to the show, but I watched the pilot again yesterday and now I am giving it more of a chance. It's a show that doesn't take itself seriously at all, but that's what makes it so fun. I don't have to get vested into the characters at all, it's just a crazy ride that takes you on the adventure of the strange and the confusing.

It's a unique show that if you like to chuckle and laugh, this is your show. It kind of reminds me of the ridiculousness of Metalocalypse.
