WGRD Winners Had Fun and Helped a Great Cause on the Leinenkugel Canoe Trip [Photos]

Every year, Leinenkugel treats GRD listeners to a day of fun in the sun on the Muskegon River.

There's canoeing, great food, delicious Leinenkugel, and we got to help make the river a better place for everyone buy cleaning up the river. The canoers who picked up the most debris had a chance to win a Leinenkugel kayak!

We left Grand Rapids in style in a luxury bus provided by Affordable Limo. Soon we were in Newaygo at Wisner's Canoes, ready to head down the river. We got garbage bags and gloves and sweet Leinenkugel coolers with beverages.

It was crazy the stuff people found! Canoers were able to grab broken parts of docks, tires, industrial piping, along with other trash.

We then headed to Jimmy's Roadhouse for awesome BBQ and to raffle off those Leiny kayaks along with other great prizes from Leinenkugel; There were Leiny flip flops, glasses, water bottles, a grill, cooler, and even a Leinenkugel deck chair.
