FINALLY! The wait is (almost) over!

West Michigan's first Chick-fil-A announced that they will be opening Thursday, January 12th. The announcement was made on their Facebook page in the comments section.

The restaurant broke ground in August and is located in Gaines Township near the M-6 exit for Kalamazoo Ave. It will have two drive-thru windows, an indoor play area, and will hold 152 customers (20 will be outdoor).

Another Chick-fil-A in West Michigan is expected to open in winter 2017 as well. That one will be located in Wyoming at 54th Street, near Meijer. Another one was planned on Beltline Rd, but unfortunately was denied.

In total, 20 Chick-fil-A's are planned for Michigan by 2021. The first two (Lansing and Troy) celebrated their grand openings in October.

Normally, the food chain celebrates their grand openings with the first 100 customers winning FREE Chick-fil-A for an entire year! Will you be waiting in line? I can only imagine how crazy it's going to be.

How excited are you for the first Chick-fil-A opening in West Michigan? Will you be eating there? How often? Everyday? No shame.
