West Michigan Watches the Solar Eclipse [Photos]
Today’s solar eclipse was viewed by millions across the country and that includes thousands in West Michigan who had fun with the rare opportunity and shared some great photos!
Solar glasses went from more valuable than gold to destined for the recycling bin (can you recycle solar glasses?) over just a couple of hours. Fortunately the few glasses available were shared by many and there were other ways to view the solar eclipse in Grand Rapids.
Here’s a look at how some people enjoyed the solar eclipse in West Michigan.
It's almost time! We're starting to see some coverage. #Eclipse2017

They weren’t in West Michigan, but the Whitecaps got a great view of the solar eclipse in Bowling Green where both teams and fans enjoyed the total solar eclipse together.
