We've got some pretty special products that come from right here in Michigan. Most likely you grew up with them and don't think much about it. I mean, what Michigander hasn't tried Faygo?

Well, for those from out-of-state, maybe some Michigan-made items are a little odd. Here's a video of some Californians trying classic Michigan foods for the first time.

From YouTube:

“We sat six Californians down and served them up their first-ever tastes of some beloved Michigan cuisine. Their reactions to pasties, pannukakku, and other Great Lake State favorites are surprising to say the least—and will definitely be the most hilarious thing you see all day.”

Here are some of the West-Coasters thoughts:

On Pasties: "This is like grandma's dinner to go... but tasteless."

Faygo Rock &  Rye: "It kind of looks like blood."

Coney Dogs: "Did we just eat heart?"

Pannukakku:  "It looks like a lemon pie that got flattened. And it cuts like a shoe."

Pretty funny. Also-- am I the only person thinking what the heck is "Pannukakku"?

What classic Michigan foods do you think they left out?
