Watch GWAR Cover Cyndi Lauper’s ‘She Bop’ [Video]

Costumed metallers GWAR return to Grand Rapids to rock the Orbit Room next Wednesday Nov. 4.

To get you ready for the wildness that is a GWAR show, here's something pretty nutty: Gwar covering Cyndi Lauper's "She Bop". 

For the fourth year in a row, GWAR took park in The A.V. Club's A.V. Undercover Series, which features artists covering other artists' music.

From A.V. Club,

GWAR scares us, both because they’re giant monsters from outer space with exaggerated genitals, and also because they keep coming back to Undercover and destroying (in the best way) every song they attempt."

We'll see how GWAR's take on Cyndi Lauper fares. Past performances of the Kansas classic, “Carry On Wayward Son”, Billy Ocean’s “Get Out of My Dreams, Get Into My Car”  and Pet Shop Boy’s “West End Girls” got GWAR voted favorite performance in past years!
