The other day, we lost a great drummer in A.J. Pero, who was on tour with Adrenaline Mob.

He had a heart attack and died.

He was the original drummer for Twisted Sister, and joined Adrenaline Mob when Mike Portnoy left the band.

Check out this great video from an Adrenaline Mob show this week, where the band paid tribute to the great drummer, their friend.

They were also joined on stage by Twisted Sister guitarist Jay Jay French for the song "You Can't Stop Rock 'n' Roll", and Jay Jay's telling of his favorite A.J. Pero joke.

You get to learn about A.J.'s mangling of the English language, and his sense of humor.

Since his passing, original Adrenaline Mob drummer Mike Portnoy has stepped in, alongside Breaking Benjamin drummer Chad Szeliga, to fill in on drums to finish out the Adrenaline Mob tour, in honor of Pero.

RIP, Mr. Pero.

I've been cranking up lots of Twisted Sister these last few days, enjoying the work he did on those records. Thanks, man.
