Wanted: The Wyoming Purse Snatcher

No one likes a thief, so authorities in Wyoming Michigan are on the look out for a man who swiped a 72 year old woman's purse.

According to WOOD TV, the thief made his move in the 9 p.m. hour Thursday June 28th at a Walgreen's. The Walgreen's in question is located at 4425 S. Division Avenue right near the 44th Street intersection.

The suspect cased his victim while riding a mountain bike. The Wyoming Department of Public Safety said the woman was simply unlocking her car when the cyclist thief cruised by and stole the woman's purse right off her shoulder. The ride away thief then heading towards 44th Street for his escape.

The bicycle riding thief is said to be somewhere between 25 and 30 years old. The man has long hair and was last seen wearing blue jeans, a gray t-shirt and sporting a white baseball hat.
