Earlier this month, former University of Connecticut student Luke Gatti became internet-famous, after a video of his demand for bacon-jalapeno macaroni and cheese in the school's Union Street Market went viral. Although Gatti later apologized for the incident, victim David Robinson isn't having it.

The original now-infamous video shows 19-year-old Luke Gatti in the Union Street Market at UConn, demanding that the staff make him some bacon-jalapeno mac and cheese. The manager (David Robinson) is seen arguing with Gatti and telling him to leave the premises. Reports say that Gatti had walked into the eatery with an open container of beer, which isn't allowed and prompted the argument. After a lengthy verbal exchange, Gatti pushes Robinson, and Robinson and a chef pin Gatti down until law enforcement arrives.

Although Luke Gatti uploaded an apology to YouTube on October 11, the now former manager is not accepting it. In a published letter to the Daily Campus on October 26, Robinson writes, "I saw the video [Luke Gatti] posted on [his] YouTube channel. I am neither accepting nor rejecting an apology, because what [he] offered was not an apology. [He] sat on a comfy chair in a comfy den in a comfy home and spoke to a camera. Was I in that room? [Has he] reached out to me directly? A heartfelt apology is directed at a human being in their presence."

Since the incident, Gatti has been charged with second-degree breach of peace and criminal trespass, and as of October 21, he was no longer enrolled at UConn.

Conversely, former manager David Robinson is now living in South America, teaching English and caring for his father-in-law. Robinson explained in his letter that the altercation occurred on his last night of work, thus contributing to his show of restraint. "You see, it was my last night of work, and I had a plane ticket out of the country for the following Sunday, to reunite with my lovely family, and I was determined not to jeopardize that in any way," says Robinson.
