The video, which was uploaded to YouTube March 23, shows student Jake Crowman hurling anti-gay insults at the driver. Crowman claims the driver made an anti-semitic remark to him.

The driver, Artur Zawada, who posted the video to YouTube, claims to have been harassed by Crowman more than once.

According to the New York Daily News, Zawada filed a complaint with the Ann Arbor Police Department for alleged verbal harassment.

Uber is continuing to investigate.

The University of Michigan issued a statement saying,

We have seen the video. Our dean of students has talked with both the Uber driver and the students. We are extremely disappointed in the behavior depicted in this video. No one should be treated with such disrespect.”
