Upheaval is back at Belknap Park in Grand Rapids on Friday, July 14, and on Saturday, July 15. If you want to know what Upheaval is like watch the video below from last year.

 2023 Upheaval Lineup

Every year the Upheaval festival has grown, and 2023 is no exception. It is the strongest lineup from top to bottom the event has had so far, and unlike other festivals, they have not repeated a band yet.

As you can see, Friday night is packed with great bands.

Saturday Night has a killer lineup from start to finish. Tickets are on sale now for single-day or both-day tickets and you can purchase yours here.

Listen weekdays to Janna at Noon and Tommy at 4:20 for your chance to win single-day tickets to either Friday or Saturday for the Upheaval Festival. This will be a five-week promotion.

Sign up on the GRD app for your chance to win weekend passes to Upheaval. Signs begin Monday, June 5, and wrap up at midnight on July 9th. The winners will be selected on July 10th.

I think it's great we have a rock festival in Grand Rapids but from experience, I have learned these can go away as quickly as they came.

A festival like an Upheaval costs millions of dollars to put on. The cost of bands, crews, production, video, and so much more is difficult to recoup. The way you can help is to buy a ticket. Support this festival whether you like the lineup or not if you want to see it grow. Tickets make great gifts and there is nothing better than the gift of music. Let's keep this going until there is no room left to put anyone in Belknap Park.

Last year the attendance was around 15,000 per day. Belknap Park can hold 40,000 people per day. Can you imagine the lineup we could get if 40,000 people buy tickets?
