This Netflix Special Is A Mix Of ‘Black Mirror’ And ‘Punk’d’, But Is It Real?

Psychological Illusionist Derren Brown is known for exploring people's minds and how to manipulate them.

Now, he is making his U.S. debut with his Netflix special The Push, but people are wondering if it is going too far or if it is even real.

Apparently the show is testing how far can social pressure push someone to do something either immoral or something they would never do on their own. Specifically, as shown in the trailer, they are seeing how far they can go in order to see if people can be manipulated to commit murder simply because an authority figure made it seem it was the only option.

It seems pretty risky, like it could leave people with unnecessary trauma or some form of PTSD, and we really do wonder if it is real.

It's a lot to think about but supposedly the show is premiering on Netflix on February 27th so we'll see if it actually happens.
