WWE has announced its first member of the 2014 induction class to the WWE Hall of Fame, The Ultimate Warrior.

The Ultimate Warrior will receive WWE's highest honor the night before Wrestlemania 30, which is April 30, 2014, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. It will be his first appearance in WWE in 18 years.

The Ultimate Warrior debuted in WWE in 1987 and became one of the company's most popular superstars of all time. He was a two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion and defeated Hulk Hogan in the main event of Wrestlemania 6 on April 1, 1990, in front of more than 67,000 people in Toronto's SkyDome to become WWE champion.
