The Nickelback "No Fixed Addess" tour rolled into the Van Andel arena last night, and I was pretty excited to see a full set from The Pretty Reckless opening the show! I'd seen a bit of their show last year at Rock on the Range, but didn't catch it all.

This time, I caught the set, and they were really good, even if they did seem a bit tethered to the center of the stage. The guitar player and bass player didn't move around much, and at one point Taylor tried to walk out too far to stage left, and got jerked up short like a dog on a leash. She pulled a bit on the mic cable to try to get free, but then just went back to the center.

Other than that, they sounded really good, and played great! They rock harder live than they sound on the album "Going to Hell", which is a good thing for me! I like it nice and loud. They cranked through their hits "Heaven Knows", "Follow Me Down", and "F***** Up World", as well their first song ever released, "Make Me Wanna Die".

Check out the performance of "Heaven Knows" from the show above, and a few photos below.
