Three French babes who are both beautiful and can rock? Pinch us. (Not hard, we bruise easily.)

Formed in 2006, The Plastiscines are: singer and guitarist Katty Besnard, bassist Louise Basilien and drummer Ana Vandevyvere. The band was originally discovered by Maxime Schmitt, producer of the legendary german band 'Kraftwerk,' and they were quickly signed by EMI's Virgin France label that same year.

If their name sounds familiar, it's because these ladies grabbed it from the Beatles' 1967 hit song, 'Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds,' ('with plasticine porters, with looking glass ties.') Yes, we know they spelled it wrong.

Their sound is influenced by the likes of the Libertines, the White Stripes, the Strokes, the Kinks and Blondie. Last we heard, they were touring with Cobra Starship and Family Force 5, but we're waiting for a new album with bated breath. For now, looking at them will have to suffice -- they're pretty easy on the ears and eyes.
