Every year around this time, Las Vegas arena rockers the Killers write and record a Christmas song which they sell to benefit the (Red) Foundation. This holiday season, the band enlisted the help of fellow Sin City native, Jimmy Kimmel, to help collaborate on their latest merry endeavor.

The result is 'Joel, the Lump of Coal,' which tells the tale of a lowly lump of coal that goes on to become a diamond in the rough. If you thought that sentence was cheesy, then you'll no doubt feel the same about the sweaters Kimmel gives the band, including Brandon Flowers' -- which lights up!

Watch the Killers and Kimmel bring 'Joel, the Lump of Coal' to life in the video above -- and you can pick it up via iTunes right here.
