Tuesday morning, the Full Throttle Saloon in Sturgis caught fire. The fire looks like it has completely destroyed the bar, and it was on the ground by 3 a.m. this morning. There have been no injuries reported, luckily!

So far, we don't know how or where the fire started, but I've heard reports that when the fire hit the distillery, 500 gallons of grain alcohol exploded, and there was pretty much nothing that could be done to save the building.

Firefighters couldn't enter the blaze due the extreme heat, and were forced to fight the fire from the outside, to 'surround and drown' the fire. Fire crews from Piedmont, Vale, Whitewood, Sturgis, and Fort Meade were all called in to fight the fire, and were still on site in the morning.

Our good friends in Wayland have played the Full Throttle Saloon during Sturgis Bike Week many times, including just this past month. Everyone who's played there, and has been involved with the place is devastated right now.

We'll keep you updated as we learn more.
