Early Sunday morning, two churches in the Hudsonville area were vandalized.

WZZM-13 reports that after receiving tips from the public, three teenagers are being investigated: A 16-year old of Georgetown Township, a 15-year-old girl of Georgetown Township, and a 13-year-old.

According to police, the teens broke into Georgetown Protestant Reformed Church and caused around $2,500 in damage.

Police believe the same suspects vandalized the Jamestown Christian Reformed Church that same day.

According to WZZM 13, a fire extinguisher was discharged, pews damaged, and a bible was lit on fire. The vandals cut wires to computers and broke a computer screen as well.

The suspects remain in their parents' custody while the case is investigated.
