Police are investigating after a suspicious situation involving a stranger approaching a 14-year-old girl near the Holland area on Sunday afternoon, WZZM-13 reports.

According to the teen, she was walking on the boardwalk along Terrace Avenue in Park Township when she was approached by a white male who asked her if she wanted to buy popcorn.
The man suggested she go back to van to get it. When the girl said no and attempted to flee, the man allegedly grabbed her wrist. Police say she was able to kick him and get away and is not injured.

The suspect was described as a white man, 5'10", 200 pounds, wearing reflective sunglasses, khaki cargo shorts, a multi-colored short sleeved shirt and a wide-brimmed tan hat.
