Ah, throwback Thursday. Let's travel back in time to this past fall... when a guy fell.

While ice skating and singing the national anthem.

A lesson to us all, really, about why you don't try to do both of those things at once.

Free Beer and Hot Wings shared with us this video of Mark Donnelly, known for his anthem singing for the NHL’s Vancouver Canucks.

For whatever reason, Donnelly decides to up his game for this performance of “O Canada” for the Penticton Vees, a Canadian junior hockey team in British Columbia.

Not only would he wow the crowd with his voice, he'd stun them with his skating.

Well, he did, but probably not in the way he'd planned.

Somehow not seeing the bright red carpet stretched across the ice, Donnelly skates right over it. And wipes out.

To his credit, he pops right back up and keeps singing.

Plus, he later got to "redeem" himself on ESPN's “The Awesome Video Segement."

What's that, you ask? Oh, just its rip-off of Daniel Tosh's "Web Redemption" segment from "Tosh.0," about which the comedian was not pleased and retaliated in the funniest way possible.

Anyway, I wonder if Mr. Donnelly is free for the WGRD Pond Hockey Classic 2015?

He's gotta be pretty famous now, with the video reaching more than 3 million views on YouTube. This might be too short of notice for a viral video star like him. (By the way, the deadline to sign up for Pond Hockey is Sunday!)

Meh. I'm sure there will be plenty of other shenanigans at Richmond Hills Park to entertain us, without an anthem singing-skating Canadian.

Which you don't want to miss out on! So get your team signed up here!
