Do Yourself a Favor – Take Advantage of Downtown Grand Rapids!

I'm Tommy Carroll and the new guy at WGRD so I'm discovering everything Grand Rapids one day at a time.

If you haven't been downtown Grand Rapids in a while, or you super busy and you're here all the time...I get it. Please do yourself a favor and every now and then just take a look around and enjoy this wonderful city.

I took the photo above at the end of a 15-hour first day at work. Yes, it was a long day, but when I walked out the front door of the office and this is what I saw... it made a long day really worth it.

The ice sculptures have since melted, but people are still ice skating and there is just so much to downtown... even if it's just a simple walk and some fresh air.
