July 29, 2014 Last week, Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice received a suspension for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy for an altercation with his then-fiancée in an Atlantic City, N.J., casino elevator in February.
The altercation left Janay Rice unconscious. She and Rice got married in March, a day after Rice was was indicted on a third-degree felony aggravated assault charge stemming from the domestic violence incident.
Many are saying Rice's two-game suspension is a slap on the wrist and there should have been a MUCH bigger punishment for his actions.
Two of ESPN's most notable commentators had two VERY different takes on the whole situation.
