This coming November, the almighty GWAR is coming back to The Intersection. New lead vocalist and all! I will never forget the first time I saw GWAR...it was quite the show!

My throwback Thursday goes back to 2000, when I finally got to meet some of my metal heroes.  Iron Maiden was hitting the road with Queensryche and Rob Halford's solo band, and I took a week of so I could follow them around and hit 5 shows. Some are saying the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot is terrible. However, is it worse than that one time the Ninja Turtles went on a rock concert tour, made an album sponsored by Pizza Hut, then went on Oprah to promote it? Because that was a real thing that happened. Back in August of 1990, the turtles hit the stage with "Coming Out of Their Shells".

1993, that glorious film by the name of Jurassic Park showed up in theaters. I remember begging my mother to bring me to the theater to see it, which in the end, I saw it about 5 times in theaters if I remember right. I had action figures, play sets, etc. I freakin' loved Jurassic Park. 19 years later after the film was released, I finally got to visit Jurassic Park.

I have this little App on my phone called Timehop. Basically it's another thing that is attached to my Facebook info that searches through my old post per day and see's what I posted that day years ago. This little picture popped up and brought me back 6 years ago!

Oh man, College was a blast! I miss it everyday! The friends I made, the freedom I had, etc. It was my first official time that I moved away from everything in my hometown. I went to Eastern Michigan University. Regardless of all the bad press this place receives, I loved every minute I was there and I got the true college experience out of it, meaning that I lived in the dorms. 402 Buell Hall! Re

Not going to far back for this one, but this was definitely one of my favorite interviews I ever did. Interviewing is kind of an art, making sure you ask the right questions, and attempting to make it more of a conversation then necessarily and interview where you already know the answer to the questions. Huntess was that and more!

This photo isn't of me, but man does it make me laugh. It's of a friend of mine named John. John has a fantastic beard. Some time ago, he got pizza at some place with a photo of a knight looking guy eating a slice of pizza, whom also had a beard. Where do you think this is going?

This year, I got the opportunity to host Carnival of Chaos. It was a blast! Quite some years back though, I only attended Carnival of Chaos. Just so happens that year, Mushroomhead was headlining one of the stages. This was also during the time that I blackened my hair, wore Tripp pants, etc.

I love collecting video games! It's just a thing I enjoy to do. The quest for a cheap but rare game is a very exhilarating experience. Just imagine finding 'Earthbound' at a garage sale for $2? Good feeling right? Since 2009, my game collection has grown insanely, but here is the start of it.

I know, it's really early to even thing about Halloween. It is my favorite holiday though! Dressing up in something awesome and going to countless parties. I will say though, I miss 'Trick or Treating.' Instead of a hangover, you had over 5 pounds of FREE CANDY! One year though, my Halloween costume topped many lists.

I'm pretty excited for tonight as Mushroomhead returns to The Intersection! It's always a good time, and I have seen these guys more times that I can count. Let's just say it's over 20! One of the shows I attended, we had the makeup artist from The Haunt do some awesome work for us.
