The fun guys in Wayland stopped in today to let everyone know what's going on with the band, their plans, and to invite you all out to their charity show tomorrow night at Yankee Springs Golf Course! They're raising money for a great charity, the Wayland High School choir program, where Phil went to school, so go out and support not only a great band, but help out a local high school music program

You've heard us all talking about the new studio we finally got to get into this week, and how we're all getting used to it.  It's really cool, and really open, which is unusual for a lot of stations. Most of the time, you're buried behind a million computer screens, hoping the other people in the room are still there, and you're not talking to yourself.

Arguably, some of Metallica's best albums ever were produced by Flemming Rasmussen in Denmark.  Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets. Now, for the 30th anniversary of Ride the Lightning, Flemming talks about the recording of the album, and called it "almost effortless".

The new GRD studio is nearing completion!  We're all stoked to see the new GRD taking shape, with new carpet, millions of TVs, brand new mixing board, lighting, cameras...it's exhausting even thinking about! The work continues on the new digs for WGRD!  We left off last time with Hot Wings, Producer Steve, and Johnnie Walker getting together for a painting party.  The walls were nasty, so things got painted up really nicely. Then, this week was all about carpet, TVs, lights, and some radio gear!
