Pop Evil

Tuesday night, August 30th, Pop Evil returned to Grand Rapids at DeVos Place with 3 Doors Down, and Red Sun Rising, for a great show! This is an all-theatre run for the three bands, and it's cool to see more rock shows at DeVos! Pop Evil was the second band on stage, and they killed it!

With the news last month from the Pop Evil camp that Chachi was leaving the band, and that the Grand Rapids show with Rob Zombie and Disturbed would be his last, a lot of Pop Evil fans have been looking forward to the show. The guys finally get to play the Van Andel, and with some big bands!

WGRD had an awesome time getting pumped for Rob Zombie, Disturbed, and Pop Evil at Van Andel Arena Tuesday night at the official pre-party! We had some drinks with our friends at H.O.M.E. inside the B.O.B. and gave away tickets to the show! Check out pictures from the party at the B.O.B. and from the concert here!

Tuesday night, Rob Zombie, Disturbed, and Pop Evil hit the Van Andel Arena and made a lot of noise, and did what they could to tear the place apart. Great show, featuring lots of anime, movie clips, monsters, and aliens from Zombie and his gang. A little too much alien penis for my liking, but I'm sure someone was stoked to see them.

Tuesday night, Disturbed, Rob Zombie, and Pop Evil rolled into Grand Rapids at the Van Andel Arena, and proceeded to tear the freaking roof off the building! Rob Zombie had everyone screaming and singing along, and then Disturbed came along and set fire to everything that was left.

Pop Evil have made a drummer switch, saying farewell to Josh 'Chachi Riot' Marunde and welcoming new drummer Hayley Cramer.

This afternoon, Chachi from Pop Evil hosted a live video chat to announce his departure from the band. He's taking a new opportunity that will allow him to spend more time with family.

On Tuesday, Chachi from Pop Evil teased an announcement coming today on their Facebook page. He covered some touring news, their big tour with Rob Zombie and Disturbed that hits GR on May 24th, their push-up collaboration to benefit the troops with Kill Cliff. Then Chachi promised to host a live Facebook chat, with big, BIG news.

Pop Evil have booked a mixture of headlining, festival and support dates that will keep them on tour from March through the spring.

West Michigan's Pop Evil showed a ton of home state love last week! They rocked an acoustic show in Kalamazoo and became the first band to sell out The Machine Shop in Flint three nights in a row! In addition, Pop Evil got to play during halftime at a Detroit Piston's game! Check out video from their performance at the Palace of Auburn Hills Jan. 12, 2016!

Pop Evil have premiered a new music video for "Ways to Get High"! It's the latest single from the West Michigan rockers' album Up, out in August.
