Day two of GRD's Pond Hockey has come and gone, and the 38 teams have played through cold, snow, wind, and crazy-ass ice on the pond!  Everyone is having a great time, and the games are going pretty smoothly, with no fighting. I know, right?  Who'da thunk there'd be hockey without fighting?

Friday night was the first round of games for the WGRD Pond Hockey Classic, thanks to Labatt, Dematic and 97.9 WGRD, and everything was fantastic! It was freezing b***s, though.

The lake is in final prep for this weekend's WGRD Pond Hockey Classic. The rinks are being finished, the tents are going up and the teams are gearing up for some hard-core pond hockey action on Friday, Saturday and Sunday!

This weekend is my first ever WGRD Pond Hockey, and I'm really looking forward to the weekend at Reeds Lake, watching all the teams compete for the Championship.  In my mind, I picture all the teams practicing as hard as these guys in the video.
