'That Metal Show' Season 12 Schedule Revealed

It's a hit! VH1 Classic’s ‘That Metal Show’ returns this year for its 12th season and now the full schedule of air dates has been revealed. Eddie Trunk and his comedic cohorts Don Jamieson and Jim Florentine will kick things off with the season premiere on June 1.

On December 8, 2004 in Columbus, OH. There was a terrible event that occurred in metal history. A shooting occurred at the Alrosa Villa venue in Columbus, OH. where a band called DAMAGE PLAN was playing that night and sadly -- guitarist Dimebag Darrell was shot and killed there.

Zakk Wylde's name has come up more than a few times this year as a fill-in for a potential Pantera reunion, but before that could ever happen, the remaining members would have to determine if a reunion without the full original lineup is in their best interest. Wylde tells Brave Words that Pantera getting back together after the death of Dimebag Darrell is similar to what Led Zeppelin had to consider when offers continued to flood in after the loss of John Bonham.

Back on December 2004, one of the saddest days in Metal occured, when Darrell "Dimebag" Abbot was brutally shot to death. After the occurrence, Dime's brother Vinnie Paul ceased to ever communicate with Pantera frontman Phillip Anselmo, as Vinnie possibly specualates that Phillip had something to do with Dime's death.
