Ha! What a fun and dusty show this was! I was searching through my TimeHop app and today 2 years ago, I was rocking out at Ventana at Rockapalooza. Wouldnt you know? There is video of it I found on YouTube!

Even though I am a metal-man, we all have to start somewhere. Many people may consider this band stupid or tongue in cheek, but I will never stop loving KISS. If it wasn't for these 4 guys in war paint, I would never have loved rock as much as I do today. I have seen them a few times, but every show I go to is just as awesome as the previous one...except.

1993, that glorious film by the name of Jurassic Park showed up in theaters. I remember begging my mother to bring me to the theater to see it, which in the end, I saw it about 5 times in theaters if I remember right. I had action figures, play sets, etc. I freakin' loved Jurassic Park. 19 years later after the film was released, I finally got to visit Jurassic Park.

The Red Menace, the crap bucket....The Virtual Boy Of all the greatness that is in my collection, this one sits right in the middle of the road. I thing it is a fun console, but at the time of games moving into the 3rd dimension on your TV screen. Nintendo tried something that I can't really believe they thought would work at one point.

Ever play that game Lethal Enforcers in the arcade? It was a light gun game that you and a friend would go around to different areas and shoot criminals with your gun! It was a lot of fun that they eventually ported to SNES, Sega CD, and Genesis. You can usually find the Blue Gun everywhere, but good luck finding the Pink one.

After many years of patience and a few paychecks, I finally completed a portion of my collection that was pretty important to me. These games are wildly popular, therefore they are harder to find because no one sells them! Patience and a little luck paid off as I finally own the complete collection of Mega Man games on NES and SNES.

We get some really big name acts in Grand Rapids, and they all put on amazing shows! We have The Eagles, Boob Lady (a.k.a. Katy Perry), Five Finger Death Punch, Volbeat, Arch Enemy, etc., all coming to Grand Rapids! However, there are a few bands that I wish would make an appearance here...

Mortal Kombat has to be one of the best video games of all time. Yesterday I posted about how I got a top score on Ms. Pac-Man. Also in that same arcade was a classic Mortal Kombat machine. I usually see Mortal Kombat 2 or 3, but I never see the first one. So I popped in a quarter and gave it a shot.
