On October 17th, I was lucky enough to be in Las Vegas to see one of my favorite bands of all time, the mighty Judas Priest at the Palms. They are always awesome, and rocked the crowd at the Pearl Theatre. Rob sounds really good, and the band is on fire! Another great band on the show, was Mastodon!

Tuesday night, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators hit The Intersection in Grand Rapids for a packed crowd! They brought with them a cool band called The Last Internationale to open the show. The Last Internationale is a three-piece band from New York, and they play great bluesy, gritty, rock.

Metallica has been loose on Europe over the summer, as they like to escape from the studio in the summers to play shows in front of hundreds of thousands of people at a time, and have some fun. Who can blame them, right? Well, this summer, they also played a couple shows in Quebec City before wrapping up the summer tour.

No matter how much you like Rammstein, you have to admit...they're freaking weird. Crazy people with cool heavy music, and a nutty stage show. They always have more fire than pretty much every other band out there, so the spectacle is impressive. They brought that spectacle to the US a few years ago, and filmed it for a DVD that's out today!

Bad news for Grand Rapids Mötley Crüe and Alice Cooper fans today, as the October 13th show scheduled to hit the Van Andel Arena has been cancelled.
