Tuesday night, we hosted our first GRD Christmas Party at the Stache, with tons of cool autographed stuff to give away as Christmas presents, and some great live music! Thank you Grand Rapids, for selling out the Intersection again this year for the Free Beer and Hot Wings Live Show! You guys even stood in line in the rain, cold, and hail this morning super early to get a great seat! Grand Rapids is awesome.
Here's a great way to celebrate Halloween tonight, by checking out a movie that spawned a different kind of live event. In 2011, a great event was held around the porn parody of The Exorcist. The movie is called the XXXorcist, and an event was planned to re-enact the movie in "Splattervision&qu…
Today on Segment 16, the guys made a huge announcement, giving everyone the news of their live show coming back to the Intersection on November 23rd! It'll be a blast, with games for you to participate in, live Braggadocio, live Segment 17, and more!
Before Crobot took the stage at the Intesection with Sevendust on Tuesday, September 13th, they stopped by WGRD to hang out with some winners and perform some acoustic versions of their songs. Great guys, really funny, and such a cool experience with a new take on their music.
Before Wilson hit the stage at the Intersection with Sevendust, they came by WGRD to hang with us and some winners, and play some songs acoustic. They don't do this a whole lot, and they had a lot of fun, talking about the band, the music, and partying.
Thursday night, UK band SikTh rocked The Intersection while opening for Periphery, with Toothgrinder, and Chon. I've heard a lot about this band, and about their crazy and amazing live performances. They didn't disappoint on the technical music, for sure!
Thursday night, Periphery hit the Intersection with more great metal bands for a heavy and technical night of music. The crowd was moshing, headbanging, and singing along with the crazy music all night. Great show at the Intersection.
Saturday night, KISS hit the Van Andel Arena on their Freedom to Rock tour, and put on a show like only KISS can. There were fireworks, fires, huge video screens, blood, flying Gene, ziplining Paul...everything you'd think you'd see at a KISS show.
Tool is back on the road, and they have a lot of songs they're working on for a new Tool album. We're all super excited to hear new stuff, but until then, it's just great that the band is back on the road! They're playing throughout the rest of January, and then hopefully going back into the studio …
SpaceX has been making news, even though they really haven't been making any trips into space. They've had some successful, and not-so-successful launch attempts, landing attempts, etc. But they're still trying. And tonight, they try again, and live stream it!
