On April 4th, Iced Earth, Sabaton and ReVamp kicked off their US tour here in Grand Rapids at the Intersection.  They all played amazing sets, even with the equipment problems ReVamp had during the day. Apparently, their gear didn't arrive in time for the show, so they had to get some rental gear to play the show, and it pushed the show start time back a bit. Check out the beginning of the behind

There are a lot of great shows coming to the GR area, and one I'm really looking forward to is the Iced Earth show on April 4th!  They're going to wreck The Intersection with another one of my favorite bands, Sabaton!  And the Uber-gorgeous Floor Jansen is on the bill with her band Revamp, too, so this will be an amazing, not-to-miss show!

If you missed out on the action of the 2014 GRD Heavyweights at The Intersection, you really missed out. It was four days of local hard rock and metal bands taking over The Intersection, and all of them were impressive! However, there can only be one champion.

The hometown rockers with Wayland are coming back from their long trek on the road! These guys are one of the most hard working bands in all the land, and they are out to prove that once again here in Grand Rapids! Not only are they performing a massive night of rock, but they are filming a live DVD and also benefitting the A-T Children's Project!

Mushroomhead, to me, is one of the best bands and live performers that I have ever seen. If you have never seen them, it is a metal massacre of awesomeness. For Mushroomhead fans, I get a lot of your questions answered in an interview I had with Wayland and J-Mann!

Time for a long overdue METAL MOMENT! Been awhile since I have done one of these. This is a band I discovered not to long ago, and if you are a HARCORE metal head, than this a band that should not be missed. After hearing some of their tunes, this is music that you might have some trouble finding here in America. This Metal Moment is dedicated to: BEHEMOTH!

I am a pretty random person, you can ask anyone who works with me here at grd. I make random noises, IE- cat noises, monster sounds etc. I like to randomly start dancing... and Saturday I randomly got a limo to take me to Mega 80's at the Intersection.

Saturday night the guys in Wayland took the stage at the Intersection. Been looking forward to this show for a  while now, well ever since they came on the Free Beer & Hot Wings Show and announced their new EP, "Welcome to My Head " is available for download on iTunes now.
