Against Me! rocked the Intersection last night! We had some lucky winners win on air and we got them in the doors before the show started! The band treated these winners to a 3 song set and some pics!

Testament has hit the road with Exodus, and Shattered Sun, for another 'Dark Roots of Thrash' tour, that comes to Grand Rapids on April 13th at The Intersection. They kicked off the tour on Wednesday, at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco, and they're playing 'The Legacy' and 'The New Order' albums in their entirety! Which kicks ASS! Possibly the only not great thing about spring is that it marks the beginning of pothole and road construction season in West Michigan. The City of Grand Rapids announced Monday that a major intersection in Grand Rapids will close for two weeks in April: The corner of Michigan Street and Fuller Avenue NE will be getting a full concrete overhaul.

After three weeks of preliminary rounds and seeing the best that West Michigan has to offer, the 2015 GRD Heavyweights have come to a close. Another year of amazing metal has graced that stages of The Stache and the big room at The Intersection in Grand Rapids. This year, the fans voted and the kings have been crowned. Greenville's own Society Kills is the 2015 GRD Heavyweights Champion!

Once again at The Stache, we are bringing local metal to the masses with the 2015 GRD Heavyweights! 4 nights of hard driving rock and metal bands will take the stage and battle for your vote to be crowned Heavyweight champ!

Just seems like yesterday these guys were at The Orbit Room with ICP! However it's almost Christmas time and things are always a little 'too happy' around that time of year. Sounds like a good time to welcome back one of my favorite masked bands... MUSHROOMHEAD!

There are so many shows coming to the Grand Rapids area, and they are all going to be glorious! Five Finger Death Punch, Volbeat, GWAR, You Me At Six, etc. There are just a buttload of shows coming! One of them though is one I have been waiting on for years and it's finally happening!

Having a fresh album and a fresh tour, can really bring out the awesome in a band. Last night, Mushroomhead took the stage and it was quite the spectacle!

Today is the day! I have been waiting for Mushroomhead's latest album to hit the shelves ever since it was announced! With the return of J-Mann to the band with the vocal powerhouses that are Waylon and Jeffery Nothing, also the new members on Bass and Guitar, this album looks to be quite promising!
