A little while ago, I reviewed PLAY! A Video Game Symphony, a night of video game music performed by the Grand Rapids Symphony. It was an absolutely amazing time, and I got to hear great music from games like Final Fantasy, Super Mario Bros., Elder Scrolls, most importantly though...Legend of Zelda. Did you know that, that the GR Symphony is dedicating a WHOLE NIGHT to LEGEND OF ZELDA?!?!

Last night, I went and checked out the Grand Rapids Symphony. Normally, I never really attend the Symphony because classical music doesn't appeal to me to much. Last night however, the DeVos Performance hall was packed with crazed gamers, young and old! Why? The symphony performed some of our favorite video game songs. Was I satisfied with it though?

One thing I really enjoy about video games is music. It has evolved so much over the years from simple "chip tunes" to full fledged orchestra's! Who lives in this world and does not know the theme to Super Mario Bros.? Legend of Zelda? Halo? Not many! It has evolved so much to the point, to where you can hear this great music performed live. Guess what? You have that chance!
