As if living in southern Illinois isn't bad enough already, this family in Buncumb, Ill. has been having a bit of a critter issue lately. It's not a skunk, mouse, snake or any other "normal" infestation. It's vultures. Yes, vultures - the devil birds that primarily eat dead stuff.

This morning, we're doing the show live from Albany with Q103, and we couldn't help but notice this guy's shirt with a show reference printed on it.

Since the arrival of his twins about 10 days ago, Free Beer has noticed that there doesn't seem to be much variety in "Congrats on your twins!" greeting cards. Check out a sampling of some of the cards that have shown up to the Free Beer household recently.

With Free Beer out this week for the birth of his twins, everyone's role is a bit different on the show for a couple of days. On the show this morning, we talked to Kyle (formerly known as Wiener 2 when he was an intern) about his interning experience. We reminisced about the time that he and Wiener 1 had to compete in the Wiener Challenge, in which Producer Joe threw hot dogs and baked beans at them off of a parking garage. To top it off, the dogs were dipped in a ketchup/mustard/relish slop sauce.  Why did we do this?

Yesterday on the show, we mentioned the Charlie Charlie Challenge where kids would apparently try to summon a Mexican demon. After talking about it again today on the show, Zane decided to give it a shot himself in studio while on the air to see if he could summon his own, personal demon.

On the show this morning, Zane was telling us about how his son, Jim, wants to get a tattoo of his son's name on his forearm. Zane was trying to talk him out of it, saying that people would judge him down the road and that he may not get a job because of the tattoo placement. Now, this struck all of us as funny because of, well, how ridiculous Zane's tattoo is.

While sitting at the airport in Chicago yesterday on our way to Portland for our live show with Rock 106.3, Hot Wings pointed over to a guy sitting at the departure gate and said, "Man, that guy looks just like Quentin Tarantino." Joe's reply? "That's because it IS Quentin Tarantino.” After a quick Google image search, we were 99% sure it was him. So Joe walked up to him, introduced
