A wallaroo broke free from its owner and led police on a wild chase near Peru, Illinois. The was spotted hopping through neighborhoods Wednesday afternoon and took over 2 hours to capture.
Today on Segment 16, the guys talk about a local news story where a woman who had been ordered to attend a decision-making class made a really bad decision. She tried to escape from officers who were there to pick her up for other bad decisions she'd made, and so she climbed into the ceiling.
To some extent, you probably feel bad for the animals at the zoo. They're obviously not thrilled that they're there and would much rather be out in the wild where they're supposed to be. So it wouldn't be so bad if they escaped, right? Well, not exactly...
You'd think that an escaped lion, elephant, or anaconda would be a zoo's biggest safety concern, but apparently zebras can get loose, too. One Japanese zoo decided to stage an emergency drill earlier this week simulating the recapture of an escaped zebra, except that the zebra in the drill isn't a zebra at all.
