Kid Rock A Racist?

From the associated press comes this story out of Detroit. Seems because Kid Rock uses the Confederate flag in some of his performances, he's been deemed a racist.

Kid Rock is scheduled to receive the Great Expectations Award from the Detroit chapter of the NAACP on May 1st and many aren't happy with the award being given to someone who uses props that are symbolic to racism

Rare version of “Lafayette Blues” sold for $18K, which is the second single the Detroit duo put out in 1998. The killer part about this is that the same single was sold for $6(!) at Gold Dollar in Detroit. Talk about getting a return on investment. NME.com
