Who knew that throwing a slimy octopus onto a hockey rink was a 50-plus year tradition? Die-hard Detroit Red Wings fan Charlie Graves did. But what the Farmington resident didn't know was that following through with that tradition could --and would -- land him with a court date.
It was clear the Coyotes weren't taking the broom without a fight as last nights game 4 was tied well into the 3rd period. 6-3 ended up being the final though earning the Red Wings some time off as they now wait for their next opponent (most likely San Jose) to settle up with Los Angeles.
