Costumed metallers GWAR return to Grand Rapids to rock the Orbit Room next Wednesday Nov. 4. To get you ready for the wildness that is a GWAR show, here's something pretty nutty: Gwar covering Cyndi Lauper's "She Bop".

Motionless in White are set to rock The Intersection Monday Oct. 26!  Check out some fan-shot footage of them covering Linkin Park's "One Step Closer" at recent concert in Boston!

Megadeth is in the studio, working on their 15th studio album, and you get photos and videos of the recording on their PledgeMusic page. It will be a few more months before it comes out, so in the meantime, enjoy this cool acoustic guitar percussion cover of their classic 'Killing is My Business...'!

It's always cool to hear a new take on a classic song. In this YouTube video, musician Cathie King gives us her gorgeous four violin version of Guns N' Roses rock ballad "Sweet Child O' Mine".

Li-sa-X is a 10-year-old Japanese girl who loves to play the guitar, and she doesn't go for the easy stuff, either. She likes to shred! Pick a crazy tech band, and she will probably want to cover their song, and do it better. (And with less emo hair). Here she is, covering Polyphia's "Aviator", and she does an insanely good job with this song, and the band is probably jealous.

One of the best YouTube creators around is this loony guy named Andy Rehfeldt. He's a composer for TV and commercials and such, but loves to create amazing new versions of songs to entertain people on the internet. His latest is this amazing smooth jazz version of Korn performing 'Falling Away From Me'.

4th 'N Goal, a six-piece band from Milan, Italy, have released a cover of Bring Me the Horizon's "Drown," along with a parody video. The band's Facebook page describes their sound as  "EasyCore, PopPunk, CheesyCore". Should be interesting to hear their take on "Drown"!

Psychostick could be considered one of the greatest bands of all time. I'm actually a little suprised that they haven't performed a Gilda's LaughFest show. Maybe I can convince the group to perform next year! Psychostick has released a new video for its latest song -- a metal cover of the Top Gun movie theme song, "Danger Zone." Don't deny it; you know the Kenny Loggins song.

Over the last few years, there has been a huge surge in videos of kids learning to do amazing things. Last week, I posted a cool video of an amazing guitarist, Tina S,who rocks Dragonforce! Today, check out this great 8-year-old drummer, Avery, who's shown above absolutely nailing Dream Theater's "Panic Attack" from its Octavarium album.

Corey Taylor has been a busy boy these last years, fronting both Slipknot and Stone Sour; touring and recording with both bands, auditioning for Anthrax and being in movies! With the new Slipknot album tearing through the world right now and massive tours behind it, Taylor still has found time to record a new Stone Sour album of covers!

I don't know if you've ever seen the instrumental video of the music for the Cannibal Corpse song, "Frantic Disembowelment", but it's freaking seriously intense! An insanely challenging song, at a ridiculous pace...it looks like the video has been sped up, and isn't real.  But it's totally real. This ukulele cover version takes all of that, and puts it on the Uke!

I'm always you tubing covers of different songs I like. I just like hearing other peoples interpretation of good music! I found this cover of Kings of Leon's - Sex on Fire, and I thought I would share!
