We know times have been tough over the last five years. The economy is still recovering from the effects of the housing market crash and the Great Recession. However, it would appear that things were so bad for a suspect in North Dakota that he or she resorted to breaking into a home in search of bacon.

We really don’t like to be the bearers of bad news. It makes us feel all sad and weird, like ‘Gangnam Style’ in an elevator. But this time, we feel that it’s necessary to relay said bad news, if only for your health: there is going to be a global shortage of bacon next year.

The verdict has been in for quite some time with bacon. It's freaking delicious. It kicks every other kind of meat on the planet right in it's meat-sack. This company knows how much you love bacon and this ad plays on it. Plus now we're all seriously thinking of purchasing a bacon coffin.
