An Asteroid is On Its Way Toward Earth Today – See It Coming at 4pm!
We have less than an hour before an asteroid, NEA DX110, comes close to earth. How close, you ask? Closer than the moon, so in space terms, that's like a near miss or something!
The asteroid is between 25 and 30 meters in size, and will pass 10,000 kilometers closer to us than the moon is, but that's still over 350,000 kilometers away.
