Sunday night, June 7th, Apocalyptica hit The Intersection with Art of Dying for a great show in support of the new Shadowmaker album. If you haven't seen Apocalyptica, they're a great band from Helsinki, Finland. They first made waves in 1996, when they released an album of Metallica covers performed entirely with four cellos.

The lineup for this year's Avalanche Tour has been revealed. Shinedown will headline the trek with Adelitas Way on board to support. New Medicine and Art of Dying will split opening duties on select dates, which luckily include a stop in Grand Rapids.

Art of Dying is a Canadian band sporting some huge Canadian awards including being nominated for a CRMA (Canadian Radio Music Award) in the category of Best New Group in 2009. Bet this isn't the first time you've heard the song "Get Thru This" either...
