The craziness of Black Friday, Cyber Monday and the holiday shopping season is being offset today by Giving Tuesday. Giving Tuesday is an opportunity to take a break from shopping and help local organizations to raise money. Many groups in West Michigan are holding special Giving Tuesday events today.

ArtPrize Seven Winners Announced
The winners of ArtPrize Seven were announced tonight at The Grand Rapids Civic Theatre. Two $200,000 Grand Prizes were awarded. The Public Vote winner was Loveless PhotoFiber's "Northwood Awaking." The Jury Award winner is Kate Gilmore's "Higher Ground."

The ArtPrize Seven Jurors' Shortlists were revealed on Monday. The five finalists for Outstanding Venue contained a few regulars. SiTE:LAB, UICA and Kendall College have all been finalists before.
